Hey Lovelies, are you all done with your holiday shopping? I think I’m finally done, thanks to my old pal the internet. Unfortunately it turned into sort of a one for you, one for me situation and I ended up with a few goodies for myself when I really shouldn’t have… damn you Madewell and your tempting coupon codes! Online shopping is a cruel temptress.
Even though gift shopping can get stressful, I ADORE wrapping presents! I actually used to be the family gift wrapper for everybody else who hated doing it and/or did a sloppy job. It’s a relaxing task for my inner perfectionist. There’s something so satisfying about wrapping something just perfectly, then letting the giftee tear the paper to shreds in a fit of Christmas joy. It’s all part of the fun!
While I was working on a different holiday DIY (Christmas crackers!) I made some hand painted paper. But the hand painting ended up taking wayyy longer than I expected, so I decided to make life easy by scanning it so I could print duplicates. After I printed off a few sheets I thought… this would make a fabulous wrapping paper printable! So here you go friends, a minimalist black and white tree print wrapping paper. Hand painted and hand scanned for your enjoyment. Please encourage friends & family to rip it apart like a savage on Christmas morning 😉
You can use it to wrap smaller gifts or as a belly band to accent larger presents. I included both an 8.5″ x 11″ standard printer paper size, and an 11″ by 17″ ledger size. Because I didn’t want to burn through ink I had the large size printed at my local office supply store for about $0.15 each. Now I’ve got some lovely (almost) handmade wrapping paper to make my gifts feel even more special this year.
Enjoy & let me know in the comments if you use it for your gift wrapping!
